The only other suggestion I can give you is to find the location of about three or four rainbow worlds (maps are located on the PNF site), and sell the locations all at once to the Melnorme. I also recall there being a trainer file for the PC version of SC2, but I'd be shocked if it worked with UQM.
It's been a while since I used it, so i don't remember if it works. If you want to avoid the TIME to do mining and just cheat to get resources, there's a cheat involving the planet landers.
